Your impact
Our Life Sciences business is hiring a Lead Piping Engineer.
Lead and develop piping specification, piping and equipment arrangement, piping supports, based on Process P&ID and equipment list in consideration of cleanroom classification, space availability, operability and maintainability, future tie in, material requirement including material stress due to temperature and pressure, safety standards. The system expected include Purified water, water for injection, compressed air and gasses, clean or non clean steam, chemical transfer lines, pipe manifold and interface with various equipment, vessels and skids.
Duties include
- Layout development for process piping, utility piping, chemical, and utility systems.
- Review isometric drawings, layouts, and technical submissions.
- Engineering coordination work with multiple stakeholders.
- Participate in model review with project team.
- Resolve design clashes and site-related piping issues.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors on piping materials and standards.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and Singapore regulations.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
Here's what you'll need
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in leading the design and layout of piping and equipment layout development, including services space coordination for Singapore pharmaceutical projects
- Knowledge in piping technical knowledge, software, calculations and standards within the Pharmaceuticals industry.
- Strong understanding of ASME BPE, GMP, FDA, and EMA standards to ensure piping systems meet stringent regulatory and biosafety requirements
- Knowledge in safety requirements such as Atex, Singapore Standard 532 & 593, common ergonomic standard from OSHA and Singapore MOM.
