Your impact
Our Life Sciences Team are expanding and would like to hire a Lead Mechanical Process Engineer.
Main Duties
- Lead and develop equipment specification, data sheet, vendor documentation which form the equipment procurement package in consideration of cleanroom classification, containment and cleaning philosophy, operability and maintainability, material requirement, safety standards.
- collaborate closely with process engineers, client operation and maintenance, and various discipline engineers to ensure the equipment procurement information and interface are adequately assessed for installation readiness in the project field.
- Review submittal from tender, analyze and recommend compliant bidders, verify equipment fabrication drawings & submittals, identify deviations, develop factory acceptance baseline, attend FAT/SAT and equipment commissioning.
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess
- Minimum Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in leading the equipment selections and procurement for pharmaceutical projects
- Familiarity in process equipment and other static and rotating equipment for both process and processes supporting equipment including reactors, dryers, vessels, filtration skids, pumps, scrubbers, etc. from operations, maintenance and integrations to the overall facility.
- Knowledge in various international standard such as ASME, ISO, Biosafety, ergonomics, Singapore standards, FDA, EMA OSHA, GMP and Cleanroom classifications, containment, plus the ability to analyze the equipment suitability to meet various requirement from client operation, maintenance.
