Singapore is one of the key strategic manufacturing sites for our organization and patients. The local site operates multi-product facilities that manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients, oral solid dosage, inhalation and sterile drug products.
In 2019, a Capital investment was announced to set up new packaging lines in Singapore to support
Asia Pacific supply. This involves the establishment of the new Packaging area which will include one Vial line and three Syringe lines capable of supplying our key products for the Asia Pacific market.
Looking for a change The following presents an opportunity to work in the Packaging team.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you are responsible for supporting and executing the setup of the Packaging operations. This involves working closely together with the Capital Project team to ensure Safety, Quality, Compliance and Operational aspects of the packaging lines are adequately included during the design and construction phase. Post the construction and qualification, as the team prepares for commercial supply, you will support the engineering and maintenance activities to ensure they meet GMP, regulatory and supply requirements.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role you should be possess a Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering, with at least 8 years of maintenance work experience in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Semiconductor or Petrochemical industry. Knowledge and experience working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Familiarity with SAP is a plus. Besides, Knowledge of parts inventory management, mechanical and electrical equipment design reliability principles is required.
