Electrical Design &Project Management:
- Lead electrical engineeringactivities, ensuring all designs align with global standards and localregulations (such as SS638, SS555, SS650, CP/89A) for energy, power, and safetysystems.
System Design &Implementation:
. Oversee the development anddelivery of essential electrical systems, including power distribution (MV/LV),transformers, switchboards, motors, and lightning protection systems.
Regulatory Compliance &Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with ProfessionalEngineers (PE), Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW), and local authorities tomake sure all work follows Singapore's safety and regulatory requirements.
Installation & TestingOversight:
- Manage the safe installation,testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet projectspecifications and operate as intended.
Engineering Studies &Risk Assessment:
- Lead electrical studies (e.g., loadflow, short circuit analysis, protection coordination) and participate insafety reviews (e.g., HAZOP) to ensure system reliability and safety.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in LNG and/or oil & gas projects.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role on large-scale projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on electrical and lightning systems in Singapore.
Certifications & Technical Skills
- Valid COMPEX Certification (Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, and 12).
- Strong knowledge of international electrical standards and hazardous area requirements.
