Lead Electrical Engineer (28 month contract)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Electrical Engineering Design & Execution

Oversee and manage all electrical engineering activities throughout the EPC lifecycle,

ensuring compliance with international standards and Singapore codes (e.g., SS638,

SS555, SS650, CP/89A).

2. Manage Electrical Systems & Deliverables

Lead the design, review, and delivery of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution,

transformers, switchboards, motors, earthing, and lightning protection systems.

3. Ensure Compliance & Coordination with Authorities

Coordinate closely with Professional Engineers (PE), Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW),

and relevant authorities to ensure all works meet regulatory and statutory requirements

in Singapore.

4. Supervise Installation, Testing & Commissioning

Oversee site installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are

installed safely, function correctly, and meet project specifications and timelines.

5. Support Engineering Studies & Safety Reviews

Lead and contribute to electrical system studies (e.g., load flow, short circuit,

protection coordination) and participate in safety reviews such as HAZOP to ensure

system reliability and safety compliance.

Requirements:

1. B.S. or equivalent degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university with

minimum 15 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects.

2. Must have minimum 5 years in similar lead role in major LNG & oil/gas projects.

3. Must have minimum 5 years electrical and lightning engineering working experience

in Singapore.

4. Must possess a valid COMPEX Certificate 1,2,3, 4 and 12.

5. Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be

applied for LNG & oil/gas projects during EPC phase of execution

Location: Jurong

Salary: $8,000- $12,000/ month

This is a 28 month contract role.
