We are seeking a seasoned leader to define and implement strategy for Autonomous Networks for CSP customers and lead transformation programs that leverage AI/ML, GenAI, orchestration, and OSS/BSS integration. This role will head a team of Systems Integration engineers and AI developers to design and deliver solutions that enable Telco operators to achieve TM Forum Autonomous Network Level 4+.
You will engage at a leadership level with Telco customers, providing thought leadership and driving strategic initiatives.
What will you do
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement the Autonomous Network strategy for CSP customers.
- Lead a cross-functional team of Network domain engineers, SI engineers, SW DevOps developers, AI developers and Infrastructure engineers to deliver TM Forum Level 4+ autonomous solutions.
- Provide leadership-level engagement with global Telco customers, influencing transformation roadmaps.
Solution Design & Integration
- Responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of end-to-end technology solutions that align with CSP business objectives and technical constraints.
- Architect and integrate OSS/BSS systems for fault, performance, configuration/change, and service management.
- Ensure interoperability between legacy systems and next-generation platforms (SDN/NFV, cloud-native, intent-based networking).
- Evaluate technologies and vendors for solution fit and integration feasibility.
AI & Autonomous Networks
- Develop and implement AI/ML and GenAI models for predictive maintenance, self-healing, and self-optimizing networks.
- Drive closed-loop automation, digital twins, and intent-based orchestration aligned with TM Forum standards.
- Lead the AI/automation portfolio for wireless and wireline networks, including orchestration and AI-driven solutions.
Thought Leadership & Governance
- Provide thought leadership in network strategy, AI/GenAI models, and end-to-end automation.
- Engage in architecture, deployment, and strategic planning for Telco transformation.
- Oversee vendor integration, governance frameworks, and performance optimization.
- Provide transition planning between current-state and target-state capabilities across domains.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 15+ years of experience in Telco networks engineering and operations, with proven delivery of autonomous network solutions.
- Familiarity with TM Forum standards in Autonomous Networks and Intent-based networking.
- Expertise in TM Forum Autonomous Network Level 4+ design and implementation, OSS/BSS integration and orchestration, Zero-touch operations and AI/ML-driven automation and AIOps.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver complex integration projects.
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage with C-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency in translating business requirements into end-to-end functional and technical solution designs
- Able to assess technical trade-offs, manage design decisions, and provide solution alternatives
- Strong systems integration and software delivery background, including cloud-native and enterprise IT architectures
- Architecture design skills across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers
- Experience designing target-state architectures, transition roadmaps, and integration strategies
- Knowledge of interoperability standards, APIs, service-oriented architecture, container orchestration (K8s), microservices and event-driven systems
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including cloud-native services
- Expertise in cloud-native, hybrid, and legacy architecture models
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Agile delivery methods, backlog management, and cross-functional team coordination
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) and operational governance processes
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Electrical, Computer Engineering (Master's preferred).
