LCL Gateway Coordinator

Your Responsibilities

• Shipment Planning & Consolidation
• Plan and coordinate LCL shipments by consolidating cargo from multiple customers
• Optimize container space utilization while ensuring cargo compatibility and safety
• Work with co-loaders, warehouses, and internal teams to build efficient consolidation plans
• Booking & Coordination
• Arrange bookings with carriers or co-loaders for LCL shipments
• Confirm sailing schedules, routing, and cut-off times
• Identify and propose alternative schedules when required to meet customer deadlines
• Documentation & System Updates
• Create and maintain shipment files in the in-house system
• Prepare and verify shipping documents including House Bills of Lading (HBL) and manifests
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all documentation
• Warehouse & Cargo Handling Coordination
• Coordinate cargo receiving at warehouse/CFS (Container Freight Station)
• Ensure proper cargo labeling, packing, and segregation for consolidation
• Liaise with warehouse teams on stuffing plans and container loading
• Shipment Monitoring & Customer Service
• Track shipment status and vessel schedules
• Provide timely updates to customers on shipment progress, delays, or changes
• Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions to meet delivery requirements
