Job Summary
You will support daily laundry operations by inspecting and checking cleaned laundry items to ensure they meet quality, hygiene, and customer standards. You will handle soiled and cleaned parcels, classify garments, and coordinate with teams to maintain smooth workflow and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect soiled parcels to verify contents and condition
- Mark and classify garments according to type and cleaning requirements
- Check and inspect cleaned laundry items to ensure they meet quality, hygiene, and customer standards
- Identify stains or damages on garments and report issues for resolution
- Verify item counts against job orders and coordinate with washing and packing teams to resolve discrepancies
- Pack cleaned garments accurately for dispatch to hotels
- Dispatch cleaned garments to hotels following established procedures
- Operate safety devices on laundry equipment to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of laundry operations to support workflow improvements
- Assist in improving workflow and service standards within laundry operations through hands-on support
Requirements
- Physically fit
- English Literacy
- Prior work experience is of advantageous
