Laser Alignment Technician

We are seeking a highly experienced Laser Alignment Technician with strong marine and industrial expertise. The role covers laser alignment, dial gauge alignment, and onsite balancing of rotating machinery, along with supervision of electrical motors at shipyards, anchorage, processing plants, power plants, and construction sites. The successful candidate must be able to lead a team independently and ensure high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

. Perform Laser Alignment, Dial Gauge Alignment, and Onsite Balancing for pumps, compressors, motors, and rotating equipment.

. Independently lead and manage a technical team to complete projects safely and on schedule.

. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in compliance with marine, power, and industrial standards.

. Prepare and submit detailed reports on alignment, balancing, and inspection results.

. Enforce safety, quality, and operational standards across all worksites.

. Mentor and guide junior technicians to develop skills and ensure team efficiency.

Requirements:

. Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

. Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine and industrial sectors (shipyards, offshore, power, or process plants).

. Proven expertise in laser alignment, dial gauge alignment, and onsite balancing of rotating machinery.

. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team independently.

. In-depth knowledge of pumps, compressors, motors, and generators.

. Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards at shipyards, plants, and construction sites.

. Excellent communication, reporting, and client-handling skills.
