Use various methods and surveying instruments (e.g. total station, GPS, level, laser scanner) to measure land features such as distances, angles, and elevations.
Define land boundaries and create surface and topographic maps.
Collect data from field surveys and process it using software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS.
Prepare detailed reports including legal descriptions, calculations, and survey data interpretations.
Ensure all survey activities comply with legal regulations (e.g. zoning laws) and safety standards.
Coordinate and communicate with Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, Contractors, and other stakeholders.
Identify and help mitigate potential risks at the worksite.
Able to manage survey work across multiple projects when needed.
Job Requirements
ITE or Diploma in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering
Registered Surveyor in Singapore.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or civil engineering.
Proficient in operating surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, levels, and laser scanners.
Skilled in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software to process and interpret survey data.
Familiar with various surveying workflows, including setting-out, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, and underground utility detection.
Well-versed in Singapore's surveying laws and site safety regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and good working knowledge of BIM.
Strong understanding of standard accuracy and tolerance levels in construction surveying.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
