About the Job
- Conduct laboratory analyses of fuels, deposits, and chemical samples to support troubleshooting activities and product performance evaluations.
- Contribute to the development of formulations using existing components, including package stability assessments and no-harm testing, to drive business growth.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment to generate accurate, reliable, and safe data.
- Provide technical support on analytical methods, Product Data Sheets (PDS), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and Product Safety Summaries (PSS).
- Oversee and manage the quality function for Innospec AsPac (SAP) and regional toll blending facilities.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and bulletins documenting project outcomes.
- Manage test data and technical reports for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain sample inventory and coordinate sample logistics to and from customers for timely and efficient handling.
- Train and mentor new CTS colleagues in laboratory practices, data management, and sample handling procedures.
- Support and coordinate product performance field testing activities across the AsPac region.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in analytical testing within an industrial laboratory environment, preferably in the petroleum, petrochemical, or specialty chemicals industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of chemistry, refining processes, and quality control procedures hands-on and practical in approach.
