Laboratory Assist - Outram Park

Location: Outram Park

Working Hrs: 42hrs/weekly

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Washing: Cleaning lab glassware, equipment, and apparatus.

2. Chemical/Solution Preparation: Preparing cleaning solutions and handling chemicals.

3. Equipment Operation: Operating autoclaves, ovens, and other lab equipment.

4. Housekeeping and Waste Management: Maintaining cleanliness and managing waste.

5. Administrative Duties: Monitoring temperatures, handling reports, and performing data entry.

Required Skills:

1. Attention to Detail: Following SOPs and handling chemicals safely.

2. Technical Skills: Operating lab equipment and preparing solutions.

3. Organizational Skills: Managing waste and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Laboratory Experience: Prior experience in laboratory settings, particularly in washing and cleaning lab glassware.

2. Laboratory Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and equipment handling.

Physical and Teamwork Requirements:

1. Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle lab items safely.

2. Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
