Job Description & Requirements
- Maintain Lab instruments and chemicals in proper order
- Ensure good housekeeping prantices within in Laboratory
- Perform regular manual sampling and testing of boiler water, steam, deminerslized water, cooling water and wastewater quality
- Test lubricant oil and diesel quality if required
- Check woodchip moisture content and calorific value as needed
- Check and adjust chemical dosing rate as per system requirement
- Monitor chemical storage quantities and prepare chemical procurement plans
- Routine check of water treatment plant, sampling & dosing units and other related process and report abnormalities
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure safe working conditions in the lab
Job Requirements
- Experience working in a laboratory-based environment would be advantageous
- Ability to work a 5-day week, Monday till Friday
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related relevant field
- Experience in Power Plant industry is an advantage
