Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist Application Technologists with prototype development, project activities, and formula compounding. Maintain laboratory inventory of flavors and raw materials, ensuring proper stock rotation and timely reordering. Organize the seasoning and flavor library, as well as the food service library, for easy access and management. Ensure consistent availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and laboratory consumables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory to provide a safe working environment. Conduct shelf-life and stability tests to support product development and quality assurance. Coordinate safe disposal of chemical waste and glass in accordance with safety regulations. Assist with the packing, shipping, and documentation of trial samples for accurate and timely deliveries. Prepare applications for quality control testing, sampling, and evaluation processes. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to raw materials and finished products. Ensure that all laboratory equipment is well-maintained and safe for use.

Requirements

• ITE or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field. Knowledge of the flavor industry is an advantage. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural, cross-functional team. Detail-oriented, proactive, with a positive and professional attitude.
