Responsibilities
. Prepare and submit materials for safety licensing and other permits
. Design, establish and digitise procedures for inventory and safety management, including selection and implementation of Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
. Plan, implement and optimise layout and infrastructure for placement and storage of R&D inventory, utilising Lean tools (e.g. Kaisen, 5S, Kanban) where desirable and feasible.
. Coordinator selection, purchase, delivery and commissioning of scientific equipment and consumables.
. Test-run and troubleshoot workflows.
. Propose/curate ideas for improvements including but not limited to automation, in compliances with A.Star framework.
Requirements
. At least 3 years of experience managing laboratory operations for chemistry of biochemistry R&D.
. Prior experience in setting up a greenfield or brownfield facility
. Track record and/or demonstrated passion in operational excellence.
