Assisting the Food and Consumer Education (FCE) teachers to prepare day-to-day or whenever necessary, the ingredients required for FCE lessons.
Receiving the food orders and storing the ingredients appropriately in the labs.
Contacting the grocer whenever the food orders delivered has missing items or the ingredients are not fresh. To request for an exchange or replacement of ingredients, if needed.
Cutting and preparing specific portions of the ingredients for cooking according to the recipe given by the teachers before the start of FCE lessons.
Advising teachers should there be insufficient ingredients for preparation of lessons.
Preparing food order list.
In-charge of the day-to-day cleanliness of all the cookery labs in school which include the following duties:
Performing stock-taking duties of consumables such as detergents.
