Kitchen Assistant (Part Time)

Job Overview:

A Caf Kitchen Assistant supports the smooth and efficient operation of a cafs kitchen. They help prepare food items, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, restock supplies, and support cooks or baristas during busy periods. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to delivering quality food and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Restock ingredients, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift.

• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to supervisors.

• Accept deliveries and assist with unpacking and storage.

• Serve guests and orders efficiently.

• Assist in food preparation, portioning, and plating.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Replenish stock and food displays.
• Support daily specials, promotions, and merchandising.
• Follow food safety standards and SOPs.
