Kitchen Assistant (Part Time)

The Kitchen Assistant supports daily kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food hygiene standards are met. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth kitchen workflow and timely food service in a caf environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and basic cooking

• Support chefs with daily kitchen operations

• Prepare ingredients, plating, and simple caf dishes

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and work areas

• Wash utensils and kitchen equipment when required

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

• Assist with opening and closing duties

Requirements

• Prior kitchen or caf experience preferred (training provided)

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours

• Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented

• Basic food hygiene knowledge is an advantage
