Job Summary
As a Key Account Manager, you will drive sales growth and profitability by managing key accounts, leading a merchandising team, and executing trade promotions within your territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts to achieve sales targets and profitability within the assigned territory
- Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with the company's growth strategy
- Lead and coordinate a team of merchandisers to ensure timely stock replenishment and effective product and point-of-sale displays
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfillment and promptly resolve issues
- Plan, coordinate, and execute trade promotions and marketing activities to support sales objectives
- Monitor and analyze sales offtake data and inventory levels to produce accurate forecasts and optimize sales outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience managing key accounts, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and presentation skills demonstrated through effective stakeholder engagement
- Customer relationship management skills applied to maintain and grow client accounts
- Ability to work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
