We are seeking an experienced, strategic-minded leader with outstanding market operations capabilities to join us as the Manager, Strategy & Operation. Your work will ensure that market initiatives, for example, projects in Malaysia, are fully aligned with corporate strategy, effectively driving business growth and enhancing brand equity. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will serve as the vital link between strategic planning and market execution.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Leadership:
- Lead Strategic Insights: Own industry research, competitive analysis, and macro-trend assessment. Establish and manage the company's market intelligence framework, producing forward-looking strategic insights and reports to inform executive decision-making.
- Own Strategic Initiatives: Independently lead or co-lead company-wide strategic projects (e.g., new market entry, business model innovation, product line strategy support), from scoping and analysis to solution design and execution roadmap development.
- Drive Strategic Execution: Establish a system for cascading and tracking strategic objectives (e.g., OKRs). Monitor the progress of key strategic initiatives, conduct regular performance reviews, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure successful implementation.
Market Support System Leadership:
- Build Support Frameworks: Design and optimize end-to-end processes and standardized tools for market activity support, covering planning, budget management, resource coordination, and performance evaluation to enhance team efficiency.
- Enable Business Growth: Deeply understand sales and product needs. Lead your team in providing integrated market support plans and resource assurance for critical business campaigns (e.g., major product launches, key regional expansions, strategic account marketing).
- Steward Brand Assets: Guide and review marketing communications and brand materials to ensure a consistent brand message and value proposition across all market touchpoints.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as a central hub, proactively collaborating with department heads from Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations to break down silos and ensure tight alignment between strategy and market actions.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Own the budgeting and management of resources for strategic projects and market support activities, optimizing allocation to maximize return on investment.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidates we are looking for should be seasoned Strategy or Marketing Professionals with:
- Degree in Strategic Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Legal or a related field.
- With 4 to 8 years of substantial experience in corporate strategy, marketing, financial analysis, top-tier management consulting, or a related field.
- Proven track record of owning and delivering strategic projects or large-scale market support programs from conception to completion, with demonstrable results.
- Proven ability to lead teams to high performance. Skilled in upward management and cross-functional communication, with the ability to influence and drive key decisions across the organization.
- Highly proficient in data analysis, using insights to guide strategic and market decisions. Familiar with market analysis tools and frameworks.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities, capable of delivering high-quality results on critical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and capable of international business communication and digesting global materials.
- Expert proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to independently produce strategic presentations and business analysis.
- Experience in Automotive or Fintech industries is a strong plus.
