Job Description

Job Summary -:
To achieve key account target as per the budget for the global/region. Strengthen relationship with the key accounts and get incremental business. Support long-term strategic business development throughanalysis on customer and competitors. To be the central point of contact for the key accounts for the region and ensure and monitor RFQ and RFI are as per the business plan and strategy for these accounts.

Key Responsibilities -:

  • To liaise with key accounts contacts, build and develop relationships
  • Collect analyze information regarding customers and provide input for new or modified products and services.
  • Evaluate customer database and ensure customer database is updated
  • Identify and convert new customers
  • - From existing database and those no longer supporting the company
  • - From market intelligence
  • - From providing cross border information
  • Build & Manage customers
  • GA & Key acct regional level contacts
  • Key accounts on local level in co-operation with local sales team
  • Ensure the account meets its volumes and income targets
  • Effectively solve problems and manage risk to ensure achievement of targets with the key accounts
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, plans, contact reports as necessary
  • Provide reports and analysis as required for preparing business development plan for the region
  • Assist during budget preparationfor key account targets for the regional
  • In cooperation with the Product & Pricing Manager to drive new trade lanes as per the agreement
  • Conduct Field work on key accounts and drives the new initiatives such as new trade lanes, products, etc
  • Development & maintenance of Regional Corporate/Key Accounts in coordination with global KAM team
  • Coordinate with the global tender management team for tender related matters
