Job Summary
Seeking a Software Test Analyst with cards domain exposure to execute manual tests, validate card transaction flows, manage defects, and support UAT/regression testing in compliance with banking standards.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on manual software testing experience, preferably in banking or financial services;
- Basic banking domain knowledge, with exposure to card products (credit & debit cards);
- Understanding of card lifecycle processes: issuance, activation, transactions, settlements, disputes, and chargebacks;
- Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals (SDLC, STLC, functional, integration, regression, UAT);
- Proven ability to design, execute, and maintain test cases from business/functional requirements;
- Mandatory experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA);
- Familiarity with test artefacts: test plans, test cases, execution reports, and DSR;
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTTPS, APIs);
- Awareness of banking regulations and compliance related to card payments.
Desired Skill-set
- Knowledge of payment networks such as Visa, MasterCard, or similar;
- Awareness or experience with SICS (Standard Interbank Card System) or other card processing platforms;
- Familiarity with card transaction flows and related messaging protocols;
- Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks (good to have);
- Experience working in UAT environments with business stakeholders;
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Basic understanding of the banking domain with familiarity with card products: credit cards, debit cards;

- Familiarity with card transaction flows and related messaging protocols.
