Role Summary

The Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in supporting change delivery and process optimisation across Transfer Agency product platforms. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, the BA is responsible for analysing business processes, defining requirements, and ensuring successful implementation of strategic and regulatory initiatives.

Working across global teams, the BA contributes to the planning, design, and delivery of enhancements, system changes, and client onboarding initiatives. The role requires strong domain knowledge in Transfer Agency, along with the ability to operate across both project and business-as-usual environments.

What You'll Do

  • Capture, analyse, and document business and system requirements, including IT processes
  • Identify business standards, data requirements and determine appropriate Operating Standards
  • Analyse current-state (AS-IS) and define future-state (TO-BE) processes to improve efficiency and standardisation
  • Support solution design, including system enhancements, configurations, and migrations
  • Manage and contribute to change initiatives, including planning, scheduling, and execution across global teams
  • Collaborate with Technology, Operations, and Product teams to deliver realistic and effective solutions
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and discussions to gather requirements and drive alignment
  • Manage requirements traceability across delivery, testing, and implementation phases
  • Support Agile delivery processes including backlog refinement and prioritisation
  • Track progress, manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide clear status reporting (MI) to stakeholders
  • Participate in all testing phases (integration, UAT), including defect triage and validation
  • Support production environments, including issue tracking and coordination with relevant teams
  • Maintain and enhance documentation such as standard operating procedures and training materials
  • Drive continuous improvement, including identifying opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and efficiency gains
  • Build and share knowledge across teams to strengthen platform understanding and reduce reliance on external support

What We're Looking For

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services
  • Knowledge of Global Product Delivery and CPFIS flows and reports
  • Good understanding of Transfer Agency or Fund Administration operations and best practices
  • Experience working on system enhancements, regulatory initiatives, and client onboarding
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements elicitation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities across global teams
  • Experience working across SDLC and Agile delivery environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong documentation skills, including requirements, SOPs, and training materials
  • Proactive, accountable, and able to take ownership of deliverables
