We are looking for a Junior Technician to join our company that will be trained in the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of kitchen appliances. The candidate should have a basic technical background, customer service experience, and willingness to learn. This position reports directly to the Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
A) Technical & Repair Work:
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting and repair of kitchen appliances effectively.
- Install and assemble kitchen appliances like ovens, range hoods, and others.
- Perform regular maintenance and preventative inspection to reduce breakdowns.
- Support testing and quality inspection of installed or fixed appliances.
B) Customer Service & On-Site Interaction:
- Coordinate with customers on-site, ensuring excellent service and clear communication.
- Provide basic user guide on appliance use and maintenance to customers on-site.
- Address customer complaints and inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
C) Inventory & Equipment Management:
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory and tracking used and unused parts. monitor used parts.
- Keep tools up to date and well organized, so they are in good working order.
D) Administrative & Team Support:
- Make sure service records and job reports are accurate and up to date after each visit.
- Assist with team members on complex repairs or large installations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum NITEC/Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Facility Technology or related discipline.
- Relevant 1-2 years or basic knowledge of electrical and technical systems, maintenance and repairing is preferred.
- Professional, polite, and good customer service skills.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
- Having a Class 3 driver's license is beneficial.
- Strong ability to learn technical skills.
- Physically fit to handle lifting and moving equipment.
