Manage vessel operations from post-fixture onwards, ensuring compliance with charter party agreements
Support pre-fixture activities in coordination with relevant counterparts
Plan voyages, including optimizing cargo arrangements and calculating bunker requirements
Monitor vessel performance daily, both at sea and in port, to minimize delays, claims, and disputes
Liaise with vessel owners, masters, charterers, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide voyage instructions
Coordinate with port agents regarding disbursements, cargo readiness, and vessel scheduling
Arrange additional insurance coverage when required (e.g., war risk, Loss of Hire, Kidnap & Ransom, etc.)
Prepare hire invoices, freight statements, laytime calculations, and ensure timely collection of freight, charter hire, demurrage, and outstanding payments
Maintain consistent communication with Masters to ensure correct cargo stowage and safe, compliant operations in line with industry and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Open to students or recent graduates from any academic background
No prior experience needed - structured training will be provided
Strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment
Positive, motivated, and proactive mindset
Effective communication and good organizational skills
Able to perform well independently as well as within a team
