Job Description:

As a Junior Project Coordinator, you will play an essential role in supporting project managers and teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecyclefrom planning through to deliverywhile ensuring that project goals are met and that all resources are allocated efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the project management team in planning, coordinating, and executing projects on time and within scope.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Track project progress, assist with resource allocation, and ensure deliverables are met on time.
  • Communicate with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to provide project updates and gather feedback.
  • Coordinate meetings, ensure that project timelines are followed, and track key milestones.
  • Help resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, escalating when necessary.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation for stakeholders and project teams.
  • Maintain project tracking systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date information is readily available.
  • Assist with project budget tracking and ensure that costs are managed within approved limits.
  • Provide administrative support to senior project managers and assist in ad-hoc project-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in a corporate or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field of project management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with project management software or tools (e.g., Jira, Wrike) is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements.
  • The role may require occasional travel within Singapore for client meetings or project site visits.
