Junior Medical Technologist

Job Scope:

• Assist doctors and healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient service delivery.

• Demonstrate basic skills and knowledge in patient care services.

• Perform all neurophysiological and neurosonographical diagnostic tests as ordered by doctors.

• Handle preliminary test reporting.

• Record test results in the computer and submit reports to doctors for review.

• Ensure timely dispatch of reports to clinics and wards within the stipulated timeframe.

• File reports properly for easy retrieval.

• Use consumables and supplies appropriately and cost-effectively.

• Monitor and replenish stock levels of supplies and consumables.

• Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment.

• Check and calibrate lab equipment regularly, including emergency equipment, to ensure proper functioning.

• Maintain service and maintenance records of all equipment.

• Handle patient feedback, enquiries, and perform service recovery when necessary.

• Participate in service quality programs and activities.

Job Requirements:

• A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science / Biomedical Science / Biotechnology or equivalent

• Preferably 1-2 years of related work experience in clinical service.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
