Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Pipeline Development

• Assist in the design and development of scalable data pipelines that process large volumes of data efficiently.
• Work with senior data engineers to build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and available for analysis.

1. Data Integration and Management

• Help integrate data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse or data lake.
• Support the implementation of data quality checks to ensure data integrity and reliability.

1. Database Maintenance and Optimization

• Maintain and optimize databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Assist with data schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

1. Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists

• Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and ensure that data pipelines support business needs.
• Help troubleshoot data issues and assist in resolving data-related problems in a timely manner.

1. Automation and Scripting

• Write scripts and automation tools to improve the efficiency of data-related tasks and processes.
• Contribute to automating data workflows and ensuring processes are repeatable and scalable.

1. Support Data Infrastructure Upgrades

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and optimization of data infrastructure tools and platforms (e.g., cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Stay up to date with emerging data engineering tools and technologies to enhance team productivity.

Requirements:

1. Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.

1. Experience

• Some experience (internships, projects, or full-time roles) in data engineering, software engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or similar) is a plus.

1. Technical Skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
• Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.
