As a Junior Data Engineer at MR Ingenieros SAS, you will work alongside experienced engineers and data scientists to help build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure. You will support the management of large datasets, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and contribute to building scalable solutions for the company. • Assist in the design and development of data pipelines to collect, transform, and store data.
• Work with various data sources, ensuring smooth data integration and accurate data processing.
• Support the automation of data workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data is flowing correctly and address any issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to meet business requirements.
• Assist with database management and optimization of data storage solutions.
• Ensure data quality and consistency by performing regular data validation and cleansing tasks.
• Contribute to maintaining documentation related to data pipelines and processes.
• Stay current on emerging data engineering tools and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of data management concepts and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or similar.
• Understanding of data pipeline architecture and ETL processes.
• Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data engineering.

• Familiarity with tools for data orchestration and workflow management, such as Apache Airflow or similar.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus.
• Experience in working with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
