Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to support our data team in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and systems. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting
- Support data integration and migration tasks
- Monitor data quality, identify issues, and implement fixes
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure reliable data availability
- Write clear, maintainable, and efficient code
- Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and best practices in data engineering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
- 02 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related roles
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL concepts, and data modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a team
- Good communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Airflow
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Internship or project experience demonstrating data engineering skills
