Junior Baker

We are seeking skilled and creative Bakers who are passionate about producing high-quality baked items with consistency, efficiency, and professionalism. The Baker will be responsible for designing, executing, and improving recipes, as well as ensuring that all baked products meet our quality and safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of baking techniques, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and continuously improve recipes.

• Decorate, present, and display finished baked products.

• Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

• Interact with customers by greeting them, answering inquiries, making recommendations, and providing exceptional service.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and production levels.

• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations ensure all equipment is properly prepared for the next shift.

Requirements

• GCE O Level or equivalent (higher education or relevant experience is an advantage).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage time, resources, and production schedules.

• High attention to detail, particularly when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.

• Basic math and computer literacy.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively to solve problems, meet deadlines, fulfil orders, and create high-quality baked goods.

• Flexibility to work according to business needs, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced environment use equipment, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
