About the Role:
We are looking for a Junior Account Executive (Finance) to join our Finance & Accounts team. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions such as AP, AR, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoice processing and payment follow-ups
- Assist in month-end closing, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare payment vouchers/petty cash claims
- Support preparation of financial statements, GST submissions, and audit schedules
- Coordinate with internal teams to track outstanding receivables
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Provide general finance and administrative support as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (fresh grads welcome to apply)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero) is an advantage
- Meticulous, organized, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) to liaise with clients and stakeholders
