Java Software Engineer

Job:

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, system analysts, and technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and technical requirements. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and support.

Role:

. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.

. Participate in requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions.

. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

. Develop and maintain technical documentation.

. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

. Support application deployment, enhancements, and maintenance activities.

. Ensure applications meet security, performance, and quality standards.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

. Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Java application development.

. Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.

. Experience with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot / Hibernate (or similar).

. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services is a plus.

. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL is a plus.

. Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git).

. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

. Good communication and teamwork skills.

. This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
