Overview
Our client is hiring a backend engineer to support the development and upkeep of fintech backend application, working closely with teams across their technical stack.
Responsibilities
- Enhance system components within financial/blockchain platforms to meet strict performance and reliability standards
- Produce clean, wellstructured code following solid engineering practices
- Handle production issues promptly and coordinate fixes with relevant teams
- Operate effectively in a fastmoving, startupstyle environment
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong problemsolving ability; able to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive learning attitude and adaptability
- Understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, and TCP/IP
- Experience with Java
- Skilled in PostgreSQL and SQL optimization
- Experience building microservices and APIs
- Bonus: Redis, Kafka, AWS, Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence), Kubernetes
