Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (JDK 1.8+), Spring Boot, JSP, and Bootstrap
- Build and integrate backend services and APIs, ensuring performance and reliability
- Support BAU/Ops activities including monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across development and production environments
- Work with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL)
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Integrate and troubleshoot middleware components such as Apache, JBoss, WebLogic, and WebSphere
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and operational procedures
- Participate in agile and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in programming skills in Java (JDK 1.8+), Hibernate, Spring Boot, JSP, Bootstrap
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and backend development
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies
- Exposure to BAU/Ops support and production environments
- Understanding of middleware platforms: Apache, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred/Advantageous Skills:
- Experience in the Finance domain, including financial systems or applications
- Knowledge of Filenet for enterprise content management
- Familiarity with JasperReports or similar reporting tools
- Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
