Project Description:
- Requirement is to work as part of a Scrum team with an existing client as a Microservices Lead Developer, responsible for Coding, solution architecture and application design on a microservices framework. Led the technical team in analysis and design of microservices-based applications using Agile methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop microservices using Java-related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new products and improve the existing systems in our microservices architecture.
- Develop and maintain documentation of the microservices architecture, including design patterns, best practices, and coding standards.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for microservices-based applications
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure quality and efficiency in the development cycle.
- Mentor and guide junior developers on microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and Microservices
- Strong hands-on Java coding experience
- Well-versed in Java foundation
- Strong knowledge on Java 11 and above
- Working experience in Spring boot microservices and design patterns
- Cloud experience (preferably OpenShift)
- Kafka
- MQ
- Relational database (preferably Postgres, any RDBMS)
- Should be strong in all the core skills mentioned in resume
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- Temenos RMFE or similar banking front-end platforms experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
- Ability to work as part of team and independently
- Interpersonal skills to interact with team members
