Job Description: Java Backend + QA (Automation) Engineer

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Singapore (Preferred Singaporeans)

We are looking for a Java Backend + QA Engineer with strong backend development and test automation experience. The role involves building scalable backend services and ensuring high-quality delivery through structured testing and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and J2EE
Build REST APIs and microservices-based applications
Work with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA
Write and maintain SQL queries for data validation and backend operations
Design and execute unit and automation test cases using JUnit/TestNG
Perform API testing using Postman or REST clients
Work on QA automation using frameworks like Karate
Participate in functional, integration, and regression testing
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration
Work with distributed systems and messaging tools like Kafka and RabbitMQ
Ensure application quality, stability, and performance
