Responsibilities:
- Oversee TIW-Metal Recycling operational workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Lead implementation and optimization of waste treatment and recycling technologies.
- Enhance operational efficiency, resource recovery performance, and environmental sustainability.
- Support the transfer of technical knowledge and best practices to improve incineration, WWTP, HF, CaF, and related processes.
- Assist in developing annual operational budgets and monitor costs to drive costsaving initiatives.
- Track performance metrics and support achievement of EBIT targets.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problemsolving support to operational teams.
- Participate in daily and weekly meetings including toolbox, supervisory, project, management, and safety discussions.
- Contribute to longterm resource recovery, recycling, and sustainability strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative recycling solutions.
- Collaborate with EHS to implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and enforce compliance.
- Support incident investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture within hazardous waste operations.
- Prepare accurate operational and financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate crossdepartment data collection for monthly reporting and facilitate communication with internal Japanesespeaking stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in operations management, waste management, industrial manufacturing, or project coordination.
- Strong technical knowledge in incineration, WWTP, HF/CaF processes, and chemical engineering principles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanesespeaking stakeholders.
