Job Summary:
A leadership role supporting hazardous waste recycling operations through technical expertise, operational excellence, and sustainable process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Support and oversee TIW-RCY operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Lead implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of waste treatment and recycling technologies.
- Improve operational efficiency, resource recovery, environmental performance, and factory profitability.
- Facilitate transfer and application of technical best practices to enhance incineration, WWTP, HF, CaF, and related processes.
- Support annual operations budgeting, cost control initiatives, and achievement of EBIT targets.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and identify revenue enhancement and cost optimization opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving support to factory operations.
- Participate in operational, management, project, and safety meetings to drive alignment and performance.
- Contribute to strategic planning, sustainability initiatives, and circular economy development.
- Identify and support new business, partnership, and innovative recycling opportunities.
- Work closely with EHS teams to enforce safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and support incident investigations.
- Prepare and coordinate accurate operational and financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and alignment between regional operations and headquarters.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management, waste management, industrial manufacturing, or project coordination.
- Strong technical knowledge in incineration, WWTP, HF/CaF, and chemical or chemical engineering principles.
- Proven ability in process optimization, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and operational environment.
- Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
