Responsibilities:
- Ensure stable operation of internal systems and servers.
- Coordinate with vendors on maintenance contracts and renewals for hardware and software.
- Propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as liaison between headquarters and the local branch for operational matters.
- Ensure system configurations comply with security guidelines during audits.
- Analyse functional requirements and implement system changes in line with guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team leader to maintain system configuration and design standards.
- Handle daily user support including server, network, PC, and user account queries.
- Perform troubleshooting, recovery actions, error investigations, and propose improvement measures.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation such as runbooks, inventory lists, and parameter sheets.
- Identify system issues and drive improvement initiatives.
- Develop operation and maintenance procedure manuals for knowledge transfer.
- Maintain up-to-date management documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience in Windows client provisioning and end-user computing support.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Experience managing Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
- Experience administering VMware infrastructure.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and VPN.
- Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking counterparts.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow with the team.
