IT Systems Officer

Responsibilities

• Independently research, design, develop, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions that meet business and operational needs. Configure, support, and maintain Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender in line with organizational requirements. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support, including remote assistance and troubleshooting. Monitor system health and conduct regular reviews to identify performance, availability, and security issues. Plan and coordinate the deployment, replacement, and lifecycle management of IT hardware. Create and maintain system configuration records, operating procedures, and end-user guides. Support IT procurement activities, including sourcing and vendor coordination. Provide high-quality technical support and resolve issues in various environments, including onboard vessels. Travel overseas as required for ad hoc IT support.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a degree in Information Technology or related field. At least two years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments. More than three years of experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support in a medium-sized or large enterprise environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender. Strong customer service, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Willingness to provide after-hours standby support and travel overseas when operationally required.
