IT System Engineer (Linux / RHEL / Infrastructure)

We are looking for a dedicated System Engineer with strong expertise in RHEL Linux / RedHat environments to support and manage critical infrastructure projects. This role involves system setup, upgrades, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and control the technical aspects of projects.
• Manage or participate in new system setup or infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Provide operational support for systems to meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities.
• Create project documentation and reports.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with RHEL Linux / RedHat and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with Windows Server OS and VM environments.
• Working knowledge of VPN, firewall appliances, and Cisco routers/switches.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, dynamic, and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
