Key Responsibilities
- Supporting APAC users with all relevant hard and software problems at first and second level via remote, email or telephone
- Working with the internal ticket system and ensuring that all support requests are dealt with on time
- Documenting problems and their solutions for the further development, and updating of our IT knowledge database
- Working within the Microsoft network environment
- Supporting standard hardware and software, including setting up laptops for new and existing employees
- Installing and configuring software, both manually and using automated software distribution
- Error analysis, troubleshooting, and printer configurations in the network
- Implementing IT guidelines in the entire IT environment
- Supporting IT-based projects, especially new rollouts
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar
- Experience in the areas of Microsoft Operating Systems, ideally in an internationally distributed team of a large company
- Good knowledge in the support of an on-premises IT infrastructure
- Solid experience in usage of Microsoft products, especially in Office 365
- These qualities characterize you: analytical, results-driven, assertiveness, the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
- Willingness to travel to provide on-site support if required
