IT Specialist - Bank #HMS

Monthly Salary : up to $7700 max

Contract Period : 6 months contract ( may be extendable / convertible to Permanent position )

Availability : Immediate

Working location : Beach Road

We are looking for an IT professional who is interested to work in the IT Dept. of the Singapore Branch , to handle the first level IT support and liase with Head Office.

Scope of responsibilities includes IT, telecoms and other equipment's of the Singapore branch:

Sound knowledge of policies & procedures

Drafting of User Manual & Documents

Implement controls & checks on IT systems

Ability to transform business Requirements into technical requirements.

Manage IT fixed assets and accessories (purchase and disposal, maintenance, record keeping, etc.)

Handle IT-related reporting, requests and queries

Handle staff access to the Branch's systems

1st level help desk support (for desktops, laptops, printers, corporate handphones, internet, etc.)

Attend to problems regarding SIRE (IBM AS400 core banking system), SWIFT, etc., open incident tickets to Head Office Helpdesk and follow up

Monitor and ensure the IT system health status and performance including CTS (Cheque Truncation System),IBG( Inter - Bank Giro) etc.

Ensure the operations of Voice Recording system

Ensure the first level support of Trading platforms like Bloomberg, Reuters etc.

Perform support/administration duty on system/networking infrastructure including server room facilities such as network patching, monitoring of UPS and cooling system, etc.

Manage hardware and software deployment with regular updates

Support the upgrade or testing of IT systems according to the instruction from HK Hub IT, Head Office or service providers

Prepare and manage technical documentation and operation manual

Perform standby duty after normal office hours when required

Coordinate with Head office for issues related to different systems and processes.

Coordinate with suppliers and service providers

Perform any other related duties as assigned
