Our Client is a leading not-for-profit International Organisation where their work impacts economic socio-development of its members. As part of the journey to enhance its technology capabilities, a number of new hires as part of a contained set up are in demand, and they report into the Head of Technology.

The IT Security Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining cybersecurity operations oversee security monitoring, incident response, and forensic investigations implement and maintain robust security measures for cloud environments manage access controls, disaster recovery, and backup processes drive security-related projects and vendor management and ensure compliance with ITSM processes and organizational policies.

The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of current and emerging technologies, coupled with proven expertise in project management and key areas such as cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, threat mitigation, incident response, access controls, data protection, and compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001, as well as ITIL and governance, ensuring these are strategically applied to support business objectives.

As it is typical with International Organisations, this is a permanent employment structured as an ongoing renewal contract. Work life balance can be attractive.
