UFA, Inc., a global leader in developing Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation and voice recognition technologies, is seeking a Project Manager for our Singapore Branch Office. Our Project Managers are a key component of our operations and will support the growing business needs by serving as a single point of contact between UFA and our customers. Responsible for the project life cycle, the selected candidate will ensure superior satisfaction of turnkey hardware and software simulation projects to the customer from start to finish, ensure delivery is on time and within budget. In parallel, this role will require the candidate to assume the role will support business development activities to grow UFA's business in the Asia Pacific region.
This is a position that may include worldwide travel to customer sites, symposiums, and trade shows and UFA offices (USA and Germany). Candidates must show initiative, excellent judgment, career aspirations for increased role and responsibilities, and a demonstrated willingness to work in a team.
Job Responsibilities:
. Manage full project lifecycle - proposal preparation, project inception to project completion
. Deliver and manage the continuous maintenance support of UFA's Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulator for existing Asia Pacific customers.
. Perform additional functions such as system engineering, software testing, procurement, creation of product manuals and project documentation
. Manage project communications including status reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and project team
. Manage the identification, analysis & mitigation of risks throughout the life cycle of the project
. Manage projects with staff located in offices worldwide to build sustainable processes and coordinate release schedules
. Ensure that the project is delivered on time, meets business & technical requirements and is within the budget
. Serve as a single point of contact between UFA and the customer(s) for project decisions and follow-on projects, manage customer expectations and maintain trusting customer relationships
. Produce accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle - to internal and external stakeholders
. Identify, coordinate & manage the relationship of all stakeholders to achieve project objectives
. Support the creation and submission of tender responses for RFIs and RFPs
. Perform product demonstrations
. Support the development and negotiation of contract terms and close strategic opportunities to achieve company objectives
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
. Experience in project management managing IT network infrastructure
. Able to handle technical issues from users and vendors
. Strong interest in the field of Aviation, Simulation software, and Air Traffic Control is preferred
. Experience with software-based standalone or embedded ATC simulation products is a plus
. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
. International travel may be required
. Strong written and verbal communication skills
. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
