Job Description

Preferred Qualification:

  • JLPT N2 or N1 certification (preferred)
  • Experience in IT project coordination, project management support, or PMO functions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with banking or financial services projects is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Coordination

  • Support end-to-end project delivery from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to business requirements, timelines, quality standards, and budget.
  • Develop, maintain, and track project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure deliverables are clearly defined, understood, and completed as planned.
  • Provide regular project status updates, highlighting progress, risks, issues, and escalation items.

Governance, Risk & Issue Management

  • Ensure compliance with project delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and control processes.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Develop and track mitigation plans to minimize project impacts.
  • Maintain project risk, dependency, and issue registers through resolution.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Bank IT Project Managers, business stakeholders, regional and headquarters teams, vendors, and technology teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Escalate critical issues and support decision-making through timely reporting and analysis.

Steering Committee Support

  • Prepare Steering Committee (SteCo) materials, presentations, and meeting documentation.
  • Track action items, comments, and decisions from SteCo meetings.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure of agreed actions.

Project Planning & Reporting

  • Work closely with the Bank's Project Manager on overall project planning from platform, infrastructure, system delivery, and release management perspectives.
  • Ensure project deliverables, milestones, and timelines are communicated and tracked effectively.
  • Prepare project dashboards, status reports, and management updates.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support other project-related activities assigned by the Bank Project Manager in line with project requirements and resource capabilities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes and best practices.
