Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall coordination, status reporting, and execution of project work efforts to ensure successful delivery.
- Establish and implement standardized project management processes and methodologies to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business and quality expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, assign tasks to team members, and oversee daily work efforts. Monitor progress, identify resource needs, conduct quality reviews, and escalate issues when required.
- Track key project milestones and proactively adjust plans and resources to meet evolving business needs.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication with stakeholders on project scope, budget, risks, and resource requirements.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized PM curriculum required.
- 815 years of IT work experience, including 58 years managing projects.
- Proven ability to manage projects across multiple technologies and functional areas.
- Strong expertise in project management methodologies, tools, resource management, and change management techniques.
- Experience in the Financial and Banking industry preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to work effectively with diverse business and technology teams.
- Proficient in preparing and presenting project reports to senior management.
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to internal compliance and governance processes.
Domain / Technical Knowledge (Preferred):
- Banking Domains: Wholesale Banking (Transaction Banking, Payments & Collections), Retail & Mobile Banking, Digital Channels.
- Project Delivery: End-to-end lifecycle, Agile/Waterfall, process reengineering; experience managing at least 3 projects within budgets of SGD 1025M.
- Technology & Ops: Core Banking, SWIFT, Online & Mobile Platforms.
- Stakeholder Management: Senior stakeholder engagement, cross-functional leadership, vendor coordination.
