IT Project Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a proactive IT Project Engineer to plan, execute, and deliver IT projects seamlessly. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely execution. The role requires strong technical expertise in IT systems, networks, and software deployment, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and implementing projects, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in IT or related field, proven project experience, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Project management certifications and experience in cybersecurity or cloud solutions will be an advantage.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop, plan, and execute IT projects according to scope, timeline, and budget.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to gather requirements and ensure smooth delivery.
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
4. Test, evaluate, and research new IT products and technologies to improve solutions
5. Deploy, configure, and integrate hardware, software, and network systems.
6. Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, incidents, and performance problems.
8. Manage project timelines, and resources effectively.
9. Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and best practices.
10. Document processes, procedures, and project status updates.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role
2. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
3. Strong technical expertise in network administration, server management, and IT infrastructure
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
6. Experience working in the Information & Communication Technology industry
