Our client is seeking a System Engineer with strong hands-on experience in application development and system integration to support their digital transformation journey. This role is focused on designing, building, and implementing solutions across web, cloud, and integration platforms - ensuring business systems are scalable, reliable, and future-ready.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design, develop, and implement applications using full-stack technologies (front-end + back-end)
- Build and maintain integrations using middleware platforms such as Boomi or MuleSoft
- Support cloud initiatives on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.)
- Configure and enhance low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., OutSystems) for rapid application delivery
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and ensure applications meet performance, governance, and security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth solution delivery
- Maintain proper documentation throughout the SDLC (requirements, design, testing, deployment, maintenance)
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in application development and system integration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Solid knowledge of full-stack development (e.g., JavaScript/React/Angular + Node.js/.NET/Java)
- Experience with middleware/integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar)
- Exposure to low-code platforms (OutSystems or equivalent) is advantageous
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and strong SDLC discipline
